ETG Leadership Team Ronald Pearcey is the founder and majority owner of Emergent Technologies Group. In addition, Emergent Technologies Group draws upon the collective experience of a management team of skilled and experienced professionals who collectively possess a combined 170 years of wireless telecommunications industry know-how. The team excels in the areas of sales, program management, operations, engineering and network deployments, and comprises the following: 

• Ron Pearcey, President and CEO, brings over 28 years of telecom experience to Emergent Technologies Group. Before leading ETG, Ron spent eight years serving and protecting the country as a member of the United States Air Force. After honorably completing his military service, Ron joined Motorola Inc. During his nineteen years there, he served in numerous senior leadership positions, including Senior Director of Project Management for the Wireless North American Division, Director of Operations for the Verizon Account team, and other positions managing large scale deployment projects, network design and technical support. He most recently held the position of Vice President of Network Services for Avion Systems Inc., managing all deployments and civil construction. 
  
• Michael Lapread, CTO Mr. LaPread was the Chief Technical Officer for Intelligent Software Ventures, LLC. He was responsible for developing technology strategy, leading product development coordinating relationships with join-venture partners pursuing opportunities in emerging markets with a special focus in wireless broadband networks, bio-fuel and carbon emissions reduction credits. Michael has been a leader in telecommunications for more than a quarter of a century, and his expertise covers a wide range of disciplines, including mobile applications, broadband networks and wireless networks. He has served as Director of Engineering for public and private telecommunications firms such as Southern Communications Inc., Alcatel Lucent, and Teligent, where he was responsible for global strategic planning, technology development, network design, and vendor evaluation/selection.
  
• Jason Smith, VP of Sales and Business Development With over 16 years in the communications industry, Jason has worked with every facet of infrastructure delivery methods and technology services solutions, including all major carriers and OEM within cellular, fiber, microwave, power & energy and government. After serving in the United States Navy as a communications specialist, Jason has held key leadership positions in operations and sales. Most recently Jason held the position of National Sales and Business Development at Oldcastle Precast, prior to that Jason was the Director of OSP/ISP for Focus Fiber/Focus Venture Partners and Zayo Group where he led national projects for Wireless Carriers. Jason’s development and construction background includes General Dynamics, where he was a Construction Manager, then promoted to Director.
